PROGRAM OVERVIEW : 

The B.Sc. (Hons.) Mass Communication program is specifically designed to provide students with comprehensive knowledge of mass media functions and processes. This program encompasses all the major components of mass communication, including Print, Online and TV Journalism, Social Media, Film, Radio, TV production, Graphic Designing and Animation, Photography, Cinematography, Event Management, Advertising, Corporate Communication, Public Relations, and research. The program adopts a balanced approach towards theory and practical aspects of media, enabling students to develop a critical understanding of its applications. The program’s unique selling point is its hands-on approach, where the latest audio-visual media equipment used in the industry is provided to students. Additionally, the program includes an eight-month internship at various media houses to complete the 360-degree learning process. The classroom assignments and individual projects contribute to the students’ portfolio, which can be used as a reference during their career interviews.
